Pet Rocks

The week before Samhain (Halloween) I set the boys up on a project I loved as a kid. I remember having one, but can't remember if I actually made my own or if it was bought. For these boys it was the perfect little project.

We found our rocks on our gravel driveway. And over the next few days we created our new pets. Washable paints, and googley eyes made these so fun!

The only thing we'll do different next time- hot glue the eyes on! The sticky backs didn't stick for long when the boys played with them.
