Joining Taryn from Wooly Moss Roots for
Gratitude * Sunday
A list of gratitudes.
This week I am grateful for:
~ seeing the unexpected beauty of wild turkeys flying.
~ rapid growth in the garden
~ a butterfly visitor.
~ pigtails.
~ getting better at blogging from my phone.
~ my husband. We're finding balance again.
~ being busy.
~ mud puddles.
~ rain that brings cooler weather.
~ sunshine.
~ patience.
~ the new issue of Taproot magazine. I haven't been able to commit to any books lately, but this magazine brings me what I need to help fill my mind and soul.
~ our chickens and their eggs.
~ tadpoles! In the unfinished duck pond. Such a discovery for the boys.
~ hummingbirds at my feeder.
~ a golf club to the head, not causing more damage than a headache, a bruise, and a bump. Hard heads.
~ a broken arm that healed quickly, without much summer fun missed. (2 different children for each of these injuries.)
~ time to figure out our next move.
~ finding the simple joy each day.
you list is lovely and i love those photos. i didn't even know turkeys could fly, that is cool
ReplyDeleteYour butterfly visitor was rather handsome! Yesterday we were visited by a lot of bees.
ReplyDeleteI remember my little one when her pigtails were that size - I couldn't believe how cute she was! I love your photos!
Have a lovely week :) xxxx
